The Congregation of the Fathers of Mercy was founded in 1808, originally under the title of "The Missionaries of France." It is now exclusively an American community. The generalate is located in South Union, Kentucky. The primary apostolate of the Fathers of Mercy is to conduct parish missions and retreats throughout the country.

During his talks, Fr. George will encourage and challenge the participants to make a stronger, deeper, personal commitment to Christ and to His Church. Fr. George speaks on the reality of objective Truth, personal sin, the need for repentance plus other topics such as the Holy Eucharist, the Blessed Virgin Mary, the power of prayer and marriage and family life.

"My brethren, if any one of you strays from the truth and someone brings him back, he ought to know that he who causes a sinner to be brought back from his misguided way, will save his soul from death, and will cover a multitude of sins." (James 5, 19-20).

Little things are indeed little, but to be faithful in little things is a great thing.” -- Bl. Mother Teresa

bean family

“My faith and my family bring me an abundance of joy. When I slow down enough to recognize it, I know that my heart spills over with the goodness of God's grace. When a simple soul is filled with such an overwhelming surplus of undeserved blessing, it's hard to keep the good fortune to oneself. Thus the biggest part of what I hope to accomplish here is to share the bounty with my friends, with my neighbors, and with my readers." Danielle Bean

Every Catholic mother will delight in discovering humor, truth, and a wellspring of spiritual nourishment in these beautifully written stories in Faith and Family magazine and blogs.
