Fr Mark Goring

2011 Men of Integrity speaker to be confirmed soon

Fr Mark Goring 2

The theme for this year’s conference is “Are you man enough?” It is our intention to bring men together to Encounter Christ in their lives. There is nothing more beautiful! Fr. Mark will address issues and obstacles that distract and pull men away from their growth in holiness and give us practical ways to deal with these obstacles. Fr. Mark preaches the gospel message with simplicity and conviction. His ability to make profound truths of the faith easily accessible to his listeners lies at the heart of his ministry. Fr. Mark brings energy and enthusiasm to the gospel message, combining straightforward and humorous delivery with an inspiring depth of faith in Christ. His skill at communicating the gospel has placed him in demand as a dynamic speaker.

Fr. Mark is a priest in love with the Lord, devoted to the Eucharist and the Blessed
Mother and deeply committed to living a life of faith. He is loyal to the Church and
the leadership of the Magisterium. He
is a member of the Companions of the
Cross, a new order of diocesan priests based in Ottawa, ON.. Fr. Mark
joined the Companions when he was 18 and was ordained to the priesthood
in 2002, at age 26. He has served as Associate Pastor for St. Mary’s Parish
in Ottawa and as Director of Admissions for the Companions. He is currently
Chaplain of the Catholic Chaplaincy at York University in Toronto, ON.. Fr. Mark
is a gifted conference speaker, author and appears regularly on “Food for Life”
television program. Fr. Mark is a wonderful and inspiring preacher who would like
to send out a special invitation to men - fathers, sons, brothers, friends, ... of all ages
